As we develop new and innovative ways of working, digitalization of our sales process is essential to our continued revenue growth.  Programmatic Out of Home (OOH) is a new sales channel that will enable us to access new customers and budgets by allowing them to buy OOH via automated platforms known as SSPs (Supply Side Platforms).

 We are looking for an experienced programmatic sales professional who can lead the development of automated/programmatic channels, generating incremental streams of revenue alongside our traditional sales channels. 

The Programmatic Commercial Lead- Europe, will involve extensive collaboration across business units in Europe and with the other internal teams supporting our digital transformation, including tech, ad ops and sales.   

 

What you'lll be doing

To be successful in this role your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Achieving revenue goal attainment, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Identifying, building and maintaining new customer relationships, with a solution selling-based approach.
  • Managing a pipeline that focuses on trading desks, in-house client programmatic teams and traders / digital buyers at agencies
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account in collaboration with creative, operational, marketing and financial teams.
  • Working closely with the sales planning team to structure private marketplace proposals that deliver on agreed campaign objectives.
  • Collaborating with the Programmatic account team to deliver reporting to clients & make upsell recommendations

 

Who are you?

As well as being a self-starter with excellent skills in communication, team building and collaboration you will also have;  

  • Experience of working in a progressive sales environment that has included experience of programmatic.
  • A proven track record of business-to-business sales success.  
  • Programmatic knowledge / aptitude
    • Technology: core knowledge of programmatic transaction workflow, bid request / response mechanics, interplay between DSPs, SSPs + DMPs and who the major players are at each level of the ad tech stack
    • Media: must have an understanding of how to smartly utilize audience composition indices in a proposal, build reach / frequency / GRPs and provide the right efficiency levers.  Must have experience across display, video and mobile media, with the ability combine in a singular proposal to leverage the strengths of each
    • Data: prefer strong familiarity with applying 1st & 3rd party data sets, with an emphasis on 3rd party data players in the mobile space (e.g. Factual, PlaceIQ), as well as being able to speak to attribution & measurement capabilities
    • Tools: experience using SSPs / DSPs / ad servers preferred
