Stephen Loncar is the Chief Strategy Officer for Clear Channel International, leading in creating and articulating the strategic direction across the company’s 22 markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
His role is to ensure the business keeps planning for the future in the evolving media and Out of Home (OOH) landscape. Amongst other areas, this includes a particular focus on the opportunities that the digital transformation of the industry is presenting. From the design and deployment of scaled digital OOH networks; to the automation of internal campaign management processes and external customer channels, Steve is defining and shaping CCI’s leadership role within this transformation. He is also responsible for M&A within the Group, including the development of plans to invest in the right markets at the right time, capitalising on CCI's scale and experience.
Steve joined the company in 2011 as Head of Strategy for the UK business, supporting the digital transformation of one of CCI’s largest markets. Prior to that, he was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising businesses from across the technology, media and telecoms sector, amongst others.
He started his career as an Engineering Officer in the British Army with multiple operational deployments to the Middle East and Balkans.
